COSTUME SUMMARY

Looking for inspiration for an Easter-themed home photoshoot, I came across artwork by @siriuflong on Deviantart of one of my favorite Demon Slayer Characters, Mitsuri, dressed in an adorable bunny suit. Trying to save some time and work, I purchased a body suit and ear headband on Amazon. I did some modifications to the body suit and took in a few seams, added additional boning, and raised the hip curve. I paired the costume with the haori and stockings from my other Mitsuri cosplay, and then created a collar and cuff set to complete the look.

I had a very specific idea of how I wanted the set to be for these photos, and I am so excited that the final product looked exactly how I envisioned! I started with a simple pink photography backdrop, also found on Amazon, and then layered some sheer tulle curtains on top. I also added a row of mixed flowers in pinks and purples to add an element of springtime and some additional colors. I wanted to look like I was in a field of Easter grass, so I headed to my local Dollar Tree and purchased 20 bags of iridescent green basket filling! I laid down some fluffy blankets on the floor and then covered it in a bed of green grass. To finish the set I added scattered pastel Easter eggs and posed with a pink and green Easter basket.
